Power window motors

I have a 1990 xj with power windows. The drivers side is getting tired and will need to be replaced soon , can anyone tell me if the ones in the back power window motors will swap to the front? Thanks!

you probably just need to take the system apart and clean the regulators. Try that first, and see if it doesn't fix it. you might check to see if you are getting enough voltage to the motor as well.

4 door cherokees use the same motor/regulator setup on front and rear. Your rear passenger will fit your front passenger, and your rear driver will fit your front driver. Reman motor/regulator assemblies run about $100 each, or you can try one from a junk yard. Good luck.
