It's 60mm from the top to the level of the throttle blade, then it tapers down to 55mm. If you bore the whole length to 60mm, you can keep the stock throttle blade. Go to 62mm and you'll need an oversize blade.
A 4.0 doesn't need anything bigger than 60mm unless it's built for 5000+rpm use.
