Pinion snout length?????

Since Im going to be changing out my 8.25" for a D44 I was wondering if I was going to have to re-do my driveshaft!

On mine there was very minimal length difference. I also changed from an 8.25 to a D44. There really is anything to worry about.

Did you make the change for any particular reason?Im tired of the droning noise that wont go away.I figured that since I have to change gears and hadnt done the ARB or disc brakes,I really didnt feal like putting any more $$ into the 8.25".

I made the change because my 8.25 was about to spew its guts. Mine was the 27 spline version. I got the D44 for dirt cheap and couldn't pass up the opportuniy. Justin
