Hey Allthingsoffroad... just FYI I got everything worked out... so no hard feelings about the axle thing... went ahead and regeared the 8.8 and used the extra spacers to lift the trailer onto 33s......... Look forward to winching... I mean wheeling with all of you.

Its Wednesday!!!! 85 days to the crawl and I just confirmed that I can make this trip this year. Days off approved and dropping the wife off in Charlotte on the way.

Just reserved one of the small bunkhouse cabins so I dont have to haul a tent and all the crap up there. Actually it's a really good price 15 bucks per person Min of two people Max of 4.. Cabin has Air and heat, bunkbeds and outdoor grill. perfect for the weekend.

Got word this morning that my track bar & bracket are to be shipped out 'next day air' or some such foolishness.

As it stands, I doubt it'll get here before it's too late to install & de-bug (I was going to redo the front suspension.) "Maybe IF" it gets here tomorrow :rolleyes: and "maybe IF" I feel like rolling the dice to install it over the weekend & hit no snags, I'll have it done. If not, the plan is to wheel it like it is.

I'm ready...leaving tommorow for a childrens charity ride in WV, I just have to remember to pull the cable if neccesary instead of matting it until something breaks. Then we'll be at Tellico probably on the 5th, haven't had the buggy there yet so I'm dying to try some more difficult lines (left side of gaurdrail and left side of school bus at the sharp turn) if it isn't too terribly wet. see yall there

I've got to finish up the front locker install on the wifes xj, welded her rear end today :) . Then have to change the oil on the pulling truck, check the big trailers brakes, make a battery tray for my xj, load up...be on the road saturday afternoon. Camping at my north ga property for a couple days then heading to crawfords on tuesday afternoon. So I have one whole day of prep time.... :(
