I'm looking into swapping ISP's and was wondering who you use,and more importantly,do you like them? Worth the $$ or not? Thanks!:D

Depends on what is available as far as bandwidth options. Find who are your broadband providers, local telco, local cable co, etc.
A good place to start is http://www.dslreports.com

Mike, get the dsl or cable service if you can.
Mine is Charter Cable and is super fast.
Sometimes I wonder if its worth the money though, but it is
really fast.
Later.

ps: did you get the last email from me, I was joking about the wife, that was her idea.

I have a Fiber connection, and a local, no-name ISP. I get this service, as well as my TV with all the channels for free with my rent. Reasonable rent as well.

My Fiber runs easily as fast as a T1 line.

The sattelite internet is $400 for hardware and $40 a month service. Luckily I have parents to pay for this..... :)

According to their site:
http://www.starband.com

Starbband is still overpriced, $699 for the hardware unless you can find it on ebay, $200 installation fee, required that it be setup by a qualified/certified starband installer, and $69 a month for their USB connected xceiver, no eithernet so to run additonal pc's you need their *recommended* software. Glenn Baker had it for a while.
Your pricing got my attention,If you got it for $400 and $40 where did you get it from ??

we got it about a year ago from a company that installs sattelite TV.
