i have never seen a write up on how to do it before. I think it is simply 3m contact adhesive. Proably have to chemically break the adhesive down then simply get some teflon body shop tools and skoot the trim off the adhesive and the steel panel. Then go areound and rubb off any left over adhesive. I would go to a local body shop and see if they will sell you a small amount of what ever it takes. That or call http://www.eastwoodco.com (1800 343-9353) they proably have somehting to remove it.

80 grit. (Sand 'with' the grain)

Theres trim that goes around that fine wood grain? If so, you'll
find a bunch of holes behind that trim which hold the trim in place....
just something to think about.

youd be better off leaving it, the metal underneath will most likely be rusty, the panels tend to trap water behind them, my 96 (just the rocker trim) was nasty
