Heat, AC, etc only works when pressing gas

Alright so the past few months my heater, etc, hasnt even worked at all in my 90 Jeep Cherokee. My defrost was the only thing on the panel that would work and it was hit or miss. I finally got around to messing with my vaccuum issues, replaced the vacuum ball thing and got the hoses connected up. Took it for a test drive and the heater, etc now semi-work, but only when i am pushing on the gas. If i am just idling, nothing comes outta the ducts, as soon as i press the gas, i can feel heat come out, but not as much as should be coming out. What am i missing!!??

You still have a vacuum leak.
That is the only thing that would cause what you are experiencing.
Recheck your lines.
Do you have cruise control?
Does it work?

nope i dont have cruise control. And exactly how many lines should there be? the only ones i messed with were the two going in/out of the vaccum canister....are there more?
