I'm currently building a Ford 8.8 for my cherokee and need to order brakes for it. The brakes that came with it were too big to fit a 15" rim. Any suggestions on where to find some or what company has the best application for a reasonable price would be great.

New? - Ford dealer or currie for backing plates. The rest auto zone. Or if you have the $ just get them complete from currie. they come assembled adn ready to bolt on for a premium though.
Used - Wrecking yard for the backing plates and the rest auto zone.

definatly head to the junk yard for the backing plates. currie wants a ton of $$. while you are there grab calipers for cores at the auto parts store.

true but at 399 for everything thats not really all that bad. callipers are prolly like 40ea and requilt not new at a parts store, and rotors are about 40 ea, then pads at what 50 and shoes at 30, with tax about 250 just right there and thats on top of what the junk yard sells ya. Then theres the hardware, backing plates and caliper bolts. total would be prolly 100 at a wrecking yard for a complete left/right setup then the 250 in parts. so the diff isnt really all that much. and you get all New parts from Currie.
