Extra Rear bumpstop on 4.5 lifts?

Just wanted to see if anyone with a 4.5 lift is adding any additional bumpstop on the rear? If so, how much extra and what did you use?

I have a 2000 XJ with RE 4.5 lift, 256/75R16 BFG MT's on 16x7' steelies with 4" BS.

Not sure for you installation, but DPG adjustable's are nice.

I just use 2" square tube. I have the bolt spacing and how to do it on my site.

Im kinda doubting youll need any additional in the rear....at least, not to start off with. Most of the leafs ive seen that came in the RE 4.5 kits have been very stiff to begin with. Ive got a good dozen wheelin trips on mine and they still havent come close to the stock rear bumpstops. The front flexes great with that kit, but ive been less than impressed with the rears flex.

what i did, works good and only cost a couple bucks

I vote for a longer spring plate..
just a piece of metal bolted on the upper spring plate, to hang out over the axle, so the bs hits it not the axle..
