STEERING WHEEL

the leather wrap wheel in my 96 is coming apart, seems to be a common problem. I dislike covers because they make the wheel to thick. Does anyone know whats involved with putting on a new wheel with the airbag and all? Will the wheel from a 97+ work if it has the airbag in it?? any help is appriciated

I checked for mine when it was toast, but ended up getting a wheelskins leather cover that I sewed on for an hour. At first, felt too thick. Now I like it much better that the leather wrapped factory wheel in our 2001
