If you were going to buy a transfer case skid

Which one whould you buy and where would you get it?

I am leaning toward the Rusty's off road Skid...

Any thoughts?

tomkin skid, mine fits tight to the underside, but doesn't protect the converter.

I decided on the "rusty's off road" transfer case skid...

I also ordered the cross member from rusty's...

I like my XJNation skid.
Easy install and good coverage.

My Skid Row plate seems pretty stout.
It has taken its share of knocks.

I also have a Skid Row unit. I like it alot. It's saved me more than a few times from a spendy repair!

Ive got Rusty's skid and crossmember. They're really nice pieces. Just ditch the hardware he sends you and use some grade 8 bolts though.

If you plan on any rock crawling I don't really recommend the Rusty's skid. After Jackhammer mine was literally wrapped around the bottom of my Atlas.
I'm now running the ORGS heavy duty crossmember/skid and have beat the heck outta it. This thing ain't gonna bend and is really well made.

I like your design. What's the thickness of steel you used to make that skid. I plan to make mine from .188 steel and add ribs to strength it in the appropriate places. I may also fasten the entire length (say 24 to 30 inches) to the unibody from the cross ember to the cat.
Good work.

I've got a Skid Row t-case skidplate and like it, but I did not lower my transfer case and it has a bit of a funny angle to it. Does anyone know of a high guality skidplate that is designed to be used without lowering the t-case? If you do then I'll have a Skid Row plate for sale right after I get the new one installed.
