This summer my goal for my XJ is armor, I have a tcase skid, rock rails and diff gaurds are next. Lots of styles of diff gaurds out there any opions on them. Been looking at several brands including Rusty's , Purple Cranium,Poisen Spider, and Four x Doctor.

X2

I just recieved the one for my D30 and the one for the 8.8 is in the mail.

I wasn't a fan of the Warns till Winterfest. I watched Randy (Intrepid XJ) beat the crap out of his and they didn't budge. According to him, they've held up great. IIRC, he broke some C4x4 guards and switched to the Warns.

Watching him beat on them, made be a believer.

Check out Crane High Clearance. Theirs replaces the whole diff cover. One piece of solid heavy metal. I got one for the rear because I was tired of the 8.25 cover's lip pealing the cover back everytime I went wheeling.

Greatlakes Offroad has awesome covers that are $110 shipped to your door, so you might want to consider them. GLO can be found on Pirate

I have a Poison Spyder Customs rock ring for my Ford 8.8 with a link mount. I couldnt find anybody at the time that had the link mount built into the rock ring. It worked out nicely to tie the diff into the truss with out having to weld to the cast pumkin and its beefy as hell with the bolts countersunk into the ring which is 1/2" thick and the guard for the ring gear is 1/4" steel.
