Me and my buddy just installed the RE 3.5 super flex kit. Everything went really well. Now hes just getting some bad vibrations. He wants to know, does he need a slip yoke eliminator kit or can he just get away with shimming the axle a bit. And if he does what degree should it be?

I just installed a RE6030 3.5" XJ Super-Flex Kit w/ 31's on my 01 and have very minimal vibs. I have all ready purchased a RE1811 HD Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit, but I am going to drive it for a break in period. This was recommended to me by Rubicon Express. If your buddy has bad vibrations I would go ahead with the SYE and shims.
