V for Vendetta. For those of you who haven't seen it, I recommend it. I know what you are thinking, it was made by the Wachowski brothers who made The Matrix trifecta which sucked. V for Vendetta was very good, well put together, and quite frankly frightening.

it was ok, id rather read 1984 or farenheight 451. although the movie did have some funny aspects, like that 2 minute section where all he spoke in was words with V lol actually pretty impressive. the whole movie actually was extremely well written, the rhetoric was outstanding

Are you sure you're not thinking "Fahrenheit 9/11?" Fahrenheit 451 (correct, Ray Bradbury) was a rather good treatise on censorship taken to extremes, and it was actually made into a low-budget movie (UK, 1966 or so) that wasn't too badly done...

Certainly better than anything Michael Moore would be even capable of dreaming of, y'ask me...

my girlfriend and I rented it from Blockbuster last week and watched it on Saturday. awesome movie. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but... I think it was very well done.

didn't you already read those in middle school...when they required you to read them...what about gatica..that ones cool or even recent mind control movies like the island.
