3" lift, would you go with 3.75" backspaced wheels or 4.5" ????? Running 31"x10.5" tires.........

It's 2 for the 4.5" and 1 for 3.75" any others want to comment? Thanks!

Run the stock aluminum ones.
They are around 5.25 BS, 6" wide and fit under the wheel wells. Everything you need for 31X10.50s

My next choice would be 4.5". Still fits under the stock flairs.

Why 3.75 for a set of 31's? Depending on width he wants (and wasn't a choice, but I wouldn't go larger than a 8") that would make him replace his fender flairs to stay DOT legal.
Just curious.

4.5 will let your bearings last longer. Use those.
