What size drill/tap for H-n-T

I'm doing my own yoke for a SYE. What is the size hole I need to drill and tap my output shaft to screw the yoke on with. Thanks
 
Since you're building your own, make it whatever size you want.

I would use a 5/16"-24 SHCS.
