Ok, here's the situation. I have a set of Rancho leaf spring packs that were free but kind of saggy, that I will be using for my frankenlift.
I have two options to rejuvenate them. . .
A) Find/buy extended shackles
B) Add an old leaf from a stock spring set I have laying around.
I don't really 'know' of any really problem from either one other than, '. . .too long of a shackle cause the rear to be squirrely', and '. . . add-a-leaf stiffens up the rear. . . .'.
But the add-a-leaf option does have the benefit of being free, while the shackle option has the benefit of my not having to add-a-leaf.
So what do you think?
