I Finally got my jeep all finished. I had the lift sitting here in my room for about a year until I actually lifted it. My setup is an RE 3.5", with BDS rear springs(the RE's were too high for my taste), ford 8.8 w/ Auburns Ected locker, rear disc conversion, 4:10 gears 31" Cooper discoverer STTs, and a sye kit.
I have TNT customs trail rated crossmember with the built in transfer skid. Rigid Co. Front and Rear bumper, and rock rails. Jks quicker disconnects, Bds gas shocks.

Here are some pictures....

I was very pleased with everything until I got out on the highway. when I got up to speed, I noticed that I could move the stearing wheel back and forth about 3-4" and the car wouldnt do anything. I also noticed terrible breaking power, and whenever I did break the car would "Mush" off to one side, I would have to use corrective steering to keep the car going straight. it was bad. so I went back, and they had stipped the bolt for my track bar, they hadnt replaced the leaking steering stabalizer, OR replaced a bad steering knuckle. I was very disapointed. we had a talk with them and they are going to have it RIGHT by wednsday. They also didnt level the quickerdisconects, and left out a cotter pin on one of my ti-rods.

I was very pleased with everything else, but I will have to check every bolt to make sure that they didnt screw anything else up.

I will bleed the brakes extensively but will most likely be looking into performance upgrades such as different proportoning valves, and possibly a new brake booster.

any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Looks good, i like the bumper, but,...hmmm..it's not a "car"....:laugh3:

"Jeep" My bad. you are very right, its deffenately not a car. I think that the coopers will do good. I've only heard good things about them. Its mainly the front end that I need to get all worked out. I still have to hook up the switch for my locker but I can do that in 30 minutes, I'll let you know how that works aswell.

Say, does anybody ever do any wheelin in the ozarks?
