I already have a few two inch recever hitches, and was wondering if just using one of those with a shackle through the hole would be acceptable? My local Tractor Supply wants $49.99 for a Warn shackle hitch.

i'm sure if the need is there, someone would let you borrow their receiver shackle for a recovery. as long as you have the receivers, you should be good.
