I tried a search on the 8.8 carrier, but couldn't find the info I was looking for. I've got an 8.8 ford with 3.55 gears in it and I'm wanting to upgrade to 4.56, or 4.88 gears. Am I going to have to change out carriers as well? From what I can tell, it is the same carrier for all gears. I can't find any info that tells me different.

double check but i don't beleive ford axles have carier breaks.
