View Full Version : MJ build up from stock to rock in 2 weeks

OKay all I have decided to take all the parts and money that I had from selling the beloved XJ and put all the parts into my MJ DD.......
the parts include ZUZU dana 44 with full detroit 4:56 gears..........
front HPdana 44 with detroit and 4:56 gears......
Klune V.......4:1.......
np231 with upgraded chain, planetary and AA sye.......
aw4 which I already swapped in
2002 TJ 4.0 converted to renix system.........28,000 miles.
bob long beadlocks and 35" mtr's

since IM using the Klune V I will not be able to use the TNT ylink setup, or others because of the stock crossmember location will interfere with the droop of the front axle and Driveshaft. (and dont like the other long arm setups out there for too much loss of ground clearance) so I plan to use short arms and or mid arms total lift will be around 5.5",.......the Kicker here is I am gonna try to get this all done before march 21st. I will take pics and post progress and I go......Here is what I got today:

my 400.00 jeep comanche..........with front broke springs and other problems.......so your guys job is to keep me on track and get this puppy done

just got baack from going to a BLM palnning meeting for the table mesa to prescott area. About 200 mile trip to wear a red shirt and show support to keep lands open to the public

nope differetn truck that one ended up being taken apart frame bent and other issues....So my lil 4oo.oo MJ gets a face lift!

I built that for a customer........a great guy........built it for cost.........42,000...(OUCH)

no I ve been just stock piling parts and getting ready for a build.........Time will start on Monday........I still need to drive this mj........

I am still gathering parts, I just ordered a throttle body spacer for the HO intake that I will drill and tap to fit the renix TB, use it as an adapter plate. I will also bore the TB to 60MM, I should have the HO fuel rail and injectors this week from a guy on pirates

LOL I wish! we are donw to 3 parts rigs........my MJ......alices XJ...we are running short of inventory!

WEll Had to put this on hold, had a bunch of parts show up in unservicable condition, and the parts for my welder wont be in till wednesday, and had extra work load this week too
........so We will start the build on Friday and try to complete in 2 weeks.........since I still work other jobs the work will mainly be done on the weekends, and I will update as progress happens....................
