Axle diagram

Anyone know a nice website explaining and showing the different parts of an axle, like a dana 44 and dana 30? i have searched the web, but i am not finding much. I want to learn what is what on the axle, such as hub, bearings, axles, spider gear, etc. thanks.

Good luck finding anything, I looked for a while.

Go to the NAPA, ask the man to copy a page from his parts book.

www.4wd.com has an exploded diagram of front and rear axles in their catalog. All the parts are labeled. Log on and get one sent for free. I can't seem to find the same thing on their website.

Go to the dealer and ask for a print out. They'll get you the right one.
