ok so im thinkin bout selling my sound sytem that would consist of 3 10" polk momo subs in a custom made(by yours truley) slot vent ported box designed for low end bass to do competitions, and MB Quart 1000watt x 1@1ohm amp, and a pricless no longer available alpine 11 band EQ, with this set up (running it all on an alpine CDA-9851 head unit) i was able to hit just under 150db (149.6) i want to get a winch but cant run a system and a winch do to power drain(dont want to put dual alternators on at this point)
im selling it for 900 for the package including 4G wire kit i have over 2300 invested in my entire system; and the amp is still under its one year warranty(ends in july) and the subs are still under a 3 year warranty(also bought last july)(i know i know a warranty is not transferable but it shows how new they still are) can get pics upon seriouse requests!
this is not a deffinate thing just wanna see if anyone is interested and ill think about it , that doesnt mean wait to talk to me about it in 2 months to see if the price dropped, if i cant get 900 outta it then i'd would assume keep it! let me know people.
thanks, j

you know you can buy all 3 subs and the amp for a total of $640 online. $50 into a box and picl up the Alpine ERE-G180 for well under $100 off ebay and your set for under $900. Not trying to put you down but the price needs to come down for you to sell it all.

Amp- http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14965 and on the boxes, I have built many and the biggest one was a 28 cubic foot wall, held 14 12"s and was 1.5in mdf. I had MAYBE $75 in it inclubing carpet and fiberglass resin. Like I said, i'm not trying to screw you, but you can get into it cheaper with the same setup.

There's
No

besides, you're not supposed to comment on selling price in the forums. It was posted
around here somewhere... do it back-channel.

3 4'x8' sheets of mdf= $45 @ $15 ea.
3 linear yds of carpet=$15 @ $5 per yd
4 gal of fiberglass resin from the shop( my girlfriend works there;) )= free. I had to buy the hardner.
Total of just under $75.
Pushing a 167.4db on termpro's mic= priceless.
That doesn't include the dynamat or the wireing or anyhting else, but we are only talking about the box right now.

Do tell where you can get a 4x8 sheet of 1.5" mdf for 15$
I get mine direct from the plant and it runs me at least (varies depending on time of year) $35 for 3/4" ,4x8. Obviously the resin deal helped you out- for 4 gallons of resin you're looking at about $100. Like I said, you may have 75 in it, but your implied product cost is not going to happen.

ok 5 bucks for a yard of carpet, hell imma have to get you send me some from where ever you can get it that cheap, i have to pay 9.95 for one yard thats 48" wide! as for resin, i didnt need any, i used liquid nails, 1.5" dry wall screws, and 3/4" MDF, i all together have about 50 bucks in my box(only under 6 cubic feet tho!!) to get that same identical box made would be around 350 or so here, all prices change from zip-cods to zip-code almost!!! either way personally i dont give a shit on your input OBVIOUSLY you dont need/want this setup. as for someone else maybe there is someone that wants the same set up but would like to save a couple hundred bucks on it and i said i'de wire it up(for someone that dont know how to do that, hell thats saving over 100!)
meanwhile on that link you sent, power the hell to them, i didnt get it that cheap and im not going to lose a few hundred on something i just paid for not even a year ago!!, and it says max output 2000(do they know how to add),
and it min. impedence "unbridged", how the hell can you bridge MONO!! i would love to know then i could prolly hit higher!!
