Durango 231d ?

I just got a 231d out of a Durango for next to nothing. I took it apart and it looks almost the same, or at least I can't tell the difference between it and a 231j. The input is 23 spline and the rear output is 26 spline. I did not count the front output and if I use this on a jeep it will get a SYE for the rear anyway. This unit has the same chain as our so, no, it is not intended for the 1/2 truck. What is the difference if any??

Oh by the way it does not have 6 planataries, just three.

Was it a V6 Durango or V8?

A V8, apparently it shares much of the inside parts. So far I have found that the input and output shafts and the tailcone are the main differences.
