View Full Version : Trade my C4x4 TrailBlazer for an ARB?

I just got my C4x4 in October and have a Ramsey REP8.5e in it. I've been really happy with it so far. I originally wanted an ARB Bull Bar, but I wasn't willing to shell out the ~$900, so I got the C4x4 for less than $500. A friend is selling his XJ and will give me the ARB for a trade of my C4x4 and $100.


So... what do you guys think? Should I go ahead and get what I've wanted, or should I just stick with what I've got?

That c4x4 bumper should be a bit stronger than the ARB. But hey, if you really want the ARB, go for it dude.

Is the C4x4 that much stronger? I don't run much rocks, so I'm not too worried about that.

It is, but I'd just like to know if anyone has any reasons why I should or shouldn't. I've searched around and have only really found one person who really hated the ARB. I've never read any poor comments on the C4x4, so that's a good thing.


I dunno, the oppurtunity is there, so I'm just throwing it out there to see what anyone thinks.

Ive seen the ARB's fold up when in the rocks....the c4x4 is a much stouter product and better clearance...I would not put the ARB bumper on a rig of mine

i wouldnt put an arb anything on/in/near my rig.....so over priced because of the name

That's exactly why I didn't buy it in the first place. However, I now have a chance to get it for about $600 vs. ~$900 for a new one. I'll actually only pay $100, but I'm also giving the guy my C4x4.

I kinda had the same predicament. I really liked the ARB bumper, but couldn't afford it. Ended up getting the C4x4 one and I love it. Very well built IMO. I wouldn't trade it. Just my 2 cents.
