jeep problems

well i have a 5spd 4.0 and its 98 with 135,000 miles on it

and whenever i press the gas i get going and then i stop and then i get going and then i stop
i feel like when i press the gas theres no fuel going to the engine... my jeeps been sitting for about 3 months...

has anybody had this problem before?

Did you replace the gas before firing it up? Hows the fuel pressure? Add a can of STA-BIL to the tank.

yeah slowly we managed to get it to the gas station, but new gas didnt really help that much.... ill try the stuff

make sure theres pressure at the rail, id suspect a fuel filter

could the destributer cap be a problem?

98 doesn't really have a fuel filter: it has a sock on the end of the fuel pickup in the tank.
