o2 sensor question

(post renix 91 xj) can an o2 sensor be bad without throwing an error code?
the car runs super rich but there are no trouble codes ...

yes it can. But that issue can be also caused by other things and sensors. It could be the CTS sensor not getting it in the correct loop can be the map sensor also. But if these sensors have never been replaced i would just do that.

got an error code just now (13) complaining about not reading the map sensor. i have another (working) one so this will be an easy swap and i'll go from there.
