View Full Version : Whats the best way to center your front axle?

I just recieved my adjustable track bar and was wondering what is the best way to center the axle under the jeep? i want it to be accurate and not have to spend all day doing it and not have it right when i, done

Attatch the trackbar at the axle mount...

With the wheels on the ground, have someone turn the wheel in the appropriate direction till the axle looks centered...eyeballing will usually get you pretty close, but use a tape measure to measure the outside of the tire to a point on the fender....repeat this for both sides till they are equal, then adjust the heim joint and run the bolt through.
