i had to do hub bearings this weekend on my 92, one of the 12 point 13mm bolts is a bit rounded, is it safe to replace it with just a store bought grade8 bolt? if anyone has replaced them where, and what size bolt did you get? or where can i find stock ones? besides a junkyard, by the time i get home from work all the yards are closed.
thanks

It's a metric bolt and they don't come in grade 8, that's a SAE thing.

Metric does come in grade 5. My local ACE hardware has them and yes I replaced those 12 pt bolts with 6 point metric grade 5. Don't remember the size as I just took it down to ACE and matched them up.

Equivalents, but not exact.
SAE Grade 8 (Imperial)
ISO Class 10.9 (Metric)
