2.5 power steering install

Well here is my question. I have an 89 MJ 2.5, 5spd., 2wd. I have been searching arround looking to put power steering on it but can't find and donors to get the parts from. I have an early 90's XJ and a 98 TJ steering box so that is not really a big deal. I have an 97 TJ 2.5 power steering pump and remote res. with lines and I also have a 92 XJ 4.0 pump and lines. I guess the question is on the early 2.5's is it easier to mate the 4.0 stuff from the same vintage or the newer TJ stuff. I remember seeing a write up on it but am having a hell of a time finding it now that I need it.
