Sleeving Control Arm

I am going to fix my broken control arm to keep with me for a trail spare. In order to fix it as strongly as possible, I am going to sleeve it.

Anyways, the arm has a 2" OD. Here's the 2 sizes of tubing I am looking at to sleeve it with....which would you use? Both are DOM.

1. 2-1/4 OD x .120 wall x 2.01 ID

or

2. 2-1/2 OD x .250 wall x 2 ID

Not sure if the 2" ID is going to be too tight? What do you think? Any other size suggestions.

Thanks
