Transmission Cooling Leak

I had trouble awhile back with a leaky stock transmission cooler line (return). I finally managed to fix it using hose clamps and transmission hose. It was working fine, until one day I saw a puddle under my car.

I don't drive my car for very long at one time. Everywhere I need to go is closeby. I'm assuming that the transmission, in all my trips, has never been able to heat up fully. When it does heat up, it spurts through the line. How long does it normally take for the transmission to heat up fully, does anyone know?

Would it be doing that if there was too much fluid or something?

I just don't want to lose all my fluid while driving or something.

It works just fine with what I normally use it for, but, if I need to run a bunch of errands at once, I don't wanna blow a transmission or something. I'm just not sure what I should do.
