Bastard pack

lil' XJ

NAXJA Forum User
I searched & the question hasn't been answered !!!!!!!!! Would there be a benefit in leaving the helper spring in the pack to help w/axle wrap or would it not benefit enough to give up that extra upward flex. Anyone out there who has had it both of these ways? Is there a large difference? (S-10 bastard pack, if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I left mine in. It doesn't snag on stuff and hasn't stiffened the ride up much. I tow a boat so it helps with the load leveling.

i'm runnin MJ leaves + a 3" xj- AAL with MJ shackles about 6" lift gained over stock
>> and WAY more flex than XJ leaves specifically stockers with a 3" AAL and 4.5" rusty's leaves, of which i have experience with..

++ i have my overload (helper) leaves in place but they're flipped so the leaves can have more upward travel..

Hi, Im new here, I want to built my XJ-S10 bastard pack, but, I don't know wich is the order to put them, adviceses are welcome.

It appears you searched before you posted, that's good, but you can let dead 6 year threads stay dead.

Put the individual spring leaves in order, longest to shortest.
