Will a 99 Intake and TB work on an 88

Hi Guys;
I can buy a 1999 Intake manifold with the TB, Injectors and stuff for dirt cheap, i was wondering if it would work on my 88, i know i will have to adapt my TPS sensor, but apart from that would there be anything more that i need to think about.

i think the manifold will bolt up but the ports might be a bit off. Yes you will have to adapt your TPS, as for the injectors though i'm not so sure that they will work. The newer injectors have a higher flow rating but that is with a different pump and the newer fuel rail. The newer jeeps flow with psi somewhere in the 40's, they older jeeps like yours flow much lower in the 30's.

The HO heads have the intake ports higher than the non-HO heads. It can be made to work but you will have to do some adapting.
