TC??? Bolt/Plug on the bottom????

On the bottom of my 242 TC toward the front there is a bolt/plug looking thing pointing down at the ground. I was wondering what it is. I think that it is leaking whatever it is. I didn't want to mess with it till I found out what it was though.

It's the shift detent plug if were talkin about the same bolt. It has an o-ring a spring and a plunger behind it. It looks to control tension/adjustment for the modefork.
