i am going to order a set of u bolts from rustys but i have an 8.8 will 44 or 8.25 ones work?? thanks

I don't think so. IIRC the 8.8 is a different diameter: measure it out.

well i have some 8.25 ones on there but there two small... i was woundering if the 44 will be bigger or smaller?

D35 is smallest, D44 is bigger, 8.25 is even bigger.

right i know that :gee: but will dana 44 ubolts work on an ford 8.8 or will they be to big

D44 u-bolts are smaller than 8.25. i believe they are 2.75 and 3.00 respectively.

I believe the correct size is 3.25". You can get them at Rural King. JIM.

forget puny D44 u bolts....8.8 tubes are D60 size :laugh3:
I'd try Currie they've got lots of 8.8 stuff

I bought mine for my 8.8, from Rural King (farm supply store). They are:
5/8 x 3.25 x 8.25 and fit perfectly. HTH
