Great pics! I can't wait to get down to Paragon now!
Is it just me, or in pic 27 does it look like your tire was hitting your reservoir at some point?
Any chance you could post the specs on your rims/tires combo? I'm looking at new tires this spring and want to go larger than the warn out 31's I'm on now, but I've got to keep it street legal (can't stick out past my flares) and it looks like you accomplished just that!

get bigger flares, rear TJ flares all the way around look nice.

I've got a set of TJ flares sitting right next to me actually, but they were trimmed by the previous owner a little higher than I would have, so I'm not sure if I want to put them on...
But even with just relocated and trimmed stock flares his tires look like they tuck well and would still be legal.

Rob (nhrocker) F the tj flares why dont you just use the Rubi flares of your dads jeep. He must have them sitting some where. Being he has those extended Flares. That way you could run a even wider tire/rim combo than you could with the tj flares.

well even i am ripping the rear flare off my xj and trimming it up a a inch or so and then trimming the front some more. but just enough to get some tj flares on the rear for legal reasons. never got stoped for not having flares on my jeep in either maryland or maine. or for that matter anywhere in between.so but once i trim up the rear im gonna have to put something one to keep it semi daily driven. let me know bluexj when you want to trim those fenders so we can flex it out with those new 31's !!

Yeah, sorry gents, I have not been able to get on-line in the past few weeks, just got the DSL set up, this is way better than dial-up!!
Thanks for posting these pics Mitch!! That was a fun day!
To answer your questions, no the tires don't rub anywhere, that just happened to be the last spot that the mud/water was drying. I run 35" MT/R's with AR-23 wheels backspaced at 3-3/4". The fender flares are the remainders of Bushwacker cutouts that I won at a Nac-Fest a few years ago. A 4" backspaced rim is perfect for my combo, I just got the rims I run for very cheap so I went with 3-3/4". I am at about 8-9" of lift.

Sorry Mike!! Its been over a year though, I have to re-train myself to call you when we're going now. I still cringe when I drive by that little road-side stand where my tranny blew. There is still a huge oil spot on their driveway. I mentioned it to CHW, but his XJ isn't even inspected right now!!
