I have:

Installed

2" poly spacers in the front
skyjacker Hydro shocks all around for 3-5" of lift
2" skyjacker TC drop kit
3.5" lift leaf packs in rear (Custom 7 leaves a side)

I just got:

Not installed yet

3" skyjacker lift coils for front
Extended control arms
5" extended bump stops for front
2" billet grade 8 solid blocks for rear
2" shock spacers

I want to install the 3" coils under the 2" poly spacers. 2" blocks under leaf packs in the rear. 2" shock spacers under the shocks. This should put me at about 5.5" of lift.

Sye will be purchaced if needed.
33" Dayton timberline M/T's are sitting in basement.
gears will be purchaced if it bothers me.
Brake lines will also be extended.
I will extend my track bar.

Should I shim this setup in the rear? Is there anything else I need to consider? Will I die if I use this method? If so, how and why?

you have a 2" TC drop kit with 3" of lift? I do not think you would have to do much else, just do that and run the setup. Personally I would have just bought new shocke, but again the name of this thread is Ghetto* lift.

never mind.

2" blocks on a 3" leaves....man...i ran that a long time ago...and my leaves sagged after about a month and a half...and yes...you will probably want to shim your vehicle....probably 6 degress if you get close to 6" of lift
