Herre is a strange issue that has been bugging me for a while and seems to be getting worse. For no reason the pearcing check engine alarm starts screaming intermitently. It seems to be more noticable after an offroad excursion however on occasion it even sounds with normal onroad usage.
I havwe checked for shorts and there appear to me none, the engine check light does not come on with the alarm however when the key is turned on it sounds for 3 seconds and i am assuming that this is standard.
The other day after an offroad excursion i stopped the jeep and again for no reason the alarm came on and would not go off. Has any one ealse had a similar issue?
