i found a money order can I spend it?

I found a money order for 100.00 wrote to rac. It is signed to bad to read. Can i spend it! Thats almost halfa front locker! Of course I would return it if i knew whos it was. What can I do?

return it to the issuing bank and they can return the funds or you can take it back to them and say it isn't going to be used as intended

Its a walmart m/o. Will they ID me I wonder, it makes me nervous. MMM if not thats the way to go

i think the legal way to do it would be to go to wal mart and return it and i think if nothing happens in 30 days the cash is yours

by nothing happens i mean the original owner doesn't cancel the money order, because he may have already done that by his reciept then it would be like cashing a bad check
