Welcome to the area. I think a couple guys were talking about heading up to play in the new snow this weekend, but I'm not sure when & where. They'll probably poke their heads up here soon. Rain? Is that what they call this wet stuff? I thought the sky was falling.

Welcome aboard! 8) Just keep an eye out here for some runs. There was some talk last night at the meeting about a snow run in a couple of weeks.
Matt, I was down in your neck of the woods last week. A little town called Dos Palos. Man, you live out in the middle of no where. I couldn't believe all the farming that goes on down there.

Yep... You were only about 20-30 min away. That there is row crop & alfalfa country. You drive up a little furthar north & you'll hit the almonds & grapes. nice little town with nothin in it huh.

I'm totally booked this month. I'm in/out of town and Thanksgiving coming up. I'll be itching to do some wheeling in December. Whats your XJ look like? There is about 4 memebers I know for sure in the area. Farmer Matt of course, scrappydak2 (AKA another Matt, Red 8" lift), xtreme_jeepr (AKA Corey, grey 4.5" lift) , and myself Chuck(White, 4.5 lift).
Here's a link to my site with picks of the Coyote Lake run, up by Shave Lake. Which is about 45 min. from Fresno. You would have to call the ranger stations to check to see if the trails are still open.

I can tell you that all the trails out of the Shaver/Dinkey are closed except for Bald. Myself and a friend are up the hill right now looking for some snow and found a little around the red mountain trail head, but the gate to the trails is closed just before the sand flats. Bald mountain was a lake, and was pretty fun without all the dust. So I would personally wait for another storm to coat bald with a foot of snow before I head out.
