What Should I do??

I have an 86 XJ that Im starting to make in to a wheelin rig. I junked the 2.8 a long time ago and swaped in the 2.5 out of an 87. Now the decision shoud I bulid up a 4.0 Ho stroker, with an aw4, and a 231, or should i swap in a 4.3 vortex with the 700r4 and a 231. By the way the axles are going to be out of a 76 ford, full size with detroits front and rear, with 35. These are the only two motors that I am going to go with.

If your going the 4.3 swap, might as well go for a SBC instead, more power, less fuel economy, about the same to fab stuff up for.

Personally, I would go for the stroker 4.0 myself.
