Just wanted to give everybody a heads up on dynomax super turbo p#17731 for 40.00.Instead of buying the one that is listed for the cherokee for 70.00 I got this one that is listed for 87-88 wrangler at advance auto parts.
It is a little shorter than a stock muffler but it can be adapted to mate up to the tail pipe....which I haven't hooked up yet but when I do I'll post the adapter/extension I use to make it work.I'm still trying to figure out why the direct fit is more money....
So far I'm very pleased with the tone,it has a deep mellow rumble at idle and around 1k it really comes alive then at cruising speed it sounds stock so when you're driving down the freeway or on a long drive it won't give you a head ache.Much better than the thrush cherry bomb I had on there!!.
For 40.00 this is a cost effective approach to performance sound.
