8.8 disks, how to get off!!

Just picked up my 8.8 yesterday for $95.00. I had a problem getting one of the disks off and it broke. The pad part of the disk is movable but the center that slides onto the lug bolts is stuck on. Is there a certain way to get these off or is it just stuck that bad.

Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Kim.

Smack it with a rubber mallet, if you have to remove the c-clips and pull the hole thing including the shafts out.
Be sure to grease the center and the lugs before reinstalling.

Not grease, anti-sieze.
With grease lugs won't stay torqued as well as with the AS.

As for the disks, make sure there isn't still retaining clips left on two of the studs.
Sometimes, they're hard to see if they're rusty.

If not, try heat, PB, and a mallet and prybars.

Well, disks are off. Lots of the BFH and a broken disk later they are off. Other issues to contend with now. More questions to come. Thanks for the help.
