Do we have a sweatshirt or T for our chapter? I don't think I can copy the picture here, but I think I can paste a URL to the post of the picture with another chapter's sweatshirt- http://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost.php?p=658858&postcount=1.

Thank you for the link. I looked at it and the picture of thread #6 looked good- http://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost.php?p=657505&postcount=6. Sending a PM to juicexj24 and see if he does them. Who came up with this sticker anyway? I like it. Would really like to get a sweatshirt done, embroidered too would look real good.

No problem.
Sweatshirt would be cool...seeing as how that's what you end up wearing 9 months of the year anyway. :D

It'll take me some time. But, when I do know, and if it's reasonable, I'll get with one of the chapter officers rather than take it upon myself to see if anyone is interested.

If you'd like get prices together for T's or sweatshirts and let me know. Theres also an idea to have the chapters clothing put in the NAXJA store, to let everyone know.

We need NAC chapter apparel. Someone come up with the final design so we can use it on www.cafepress.com for shirts, mugs, hats, you name it. Visit the site. It's inexpensive, easy to access and has no setup fees. Just need the chosen logo to be in the right file type.

Did you check out the web site? You can create a store for free that anyone with the address can buy from. It's not screen printed, I'm not sure how they do it, but the merchandise comes out nice.

What's the logo? And, what kind of print does everyone want? I still like embroidered sweatshirts, but the setup is high for only a few.

The price for embroidery might not be as bad as you think. My father owns Sunrise Graphics (http://www.sunrisegraphics.org), a graphic design and advertising/promotional specialties shop here in Claremont, NH. The site isn't up to date, but it shows a little of what he has done in the past. He has done everything from pens and pencils to the boxes on 18 wheelers. Pretty much anything you want your name or logo on, he can do. One of the many pieces of equipment he has in house is an embroidery unit.
He has a user name in NAXJA, but he doesn't come in here any more that I know of. He drives a modified 03 Rubicon, so he understands the "Jeep thing". If you want to contact him about prices send him an email (signman@sunrisegraphics.org) or give him a call during normal business hours.

That might be the way to go. Here, a lot of things are elevated once you drive across the bridge. I'll take a look at his site.
Ben, what do you have in mind or what is everyone looking for as far as shirts/sweats go?

I'm not sure what this cafepress company is, but I'd like to ask our Pres to comment on the status of the chapter logo and artwork. IMHO these are the property of the Chapter. I don't think we should be sending them off to some third-party company for reproduction. Selling tees and sweats is a way for the chapter to make a little money for the chapter treasury. It doesn't help the chapter any if individual members go out and buy from some Internet company that doesn't pay royalties to the chapter.
So what I'm saying is, now that Stroker has posted the artwork, please do NOT send it off to cafepress unless the chapter BOD votes to grant permission to do so.

If the store on cafepress was set up by the treasurer, the treasurer can set the prices however they want and use the profits however the chapter, as a whole, feels they should be used. BTW no one is trying to make money off NAXJA! Just trying to make available really cool apparel and gifts to the members. If that's wrong, then I must be part of the wrong organization.

I wasn't suggesting that you were trying to make money off NAXJA, but I assume that cafepress doesn't make this stuff up out of the goodness of their hearts, so THEY would be making money, and the chapter would not. The logo is the intellectual property of the chapter, it is not something that members can farm out without BOD approval. I understand your motivation, but please work with the system.
FWIW, I know of at least one other forum that booted cafepress from its site because of what the site administrator felt were predatory tactics. I am not comfortable with this company (if it is a company) without knowing a lot more about them.
Therefore, please channel any ideas regarding clothing and merchandise through the officers, do not go off on your own. If the BOD wants to look into cafepress, they will do so. That's all I'm saying.
