I found a 95 ZJ just south of me for sale.

specs:
Limited
ext.-black
int.-tan leather
4.0
126000 miles
pioneer CD player
super clean inside and out
black crager rims
off-brand MT tires

needs: tire rod bushings

KBB - $5125 for average condition

He first had a price of $4800

I talked him down to $4500

I need a new DD and this one is 15 miles away. The seller has kept this ZJ spotless.

Is $4500 a good price to pay?

Thanks
Clay

I disagree.
Not sure why you are posting this on an XJ forum but since you're here, I don't give much credence to KBB. What you need to find out is what the fair market value is. Go to www.cars.com and look up "like year make and model ZJ's" in your zip code. That should give you a fair idea of what ZJ's are selling for in your area taking into consideration the haggle factor. Sometimes a meticulously cared for car can be worth alot more than one of the same mileage that's been pounded into the ground. Does the Jeep have maintenance records? Oil change intervals? Has it passed state emmission and mechanical inspection? I bought my ZJ for about the same price give or take but this is a very pricey part of the country to live. Good Luck.

Nice looking ZJ....though a bit pricey for a 95...
