What is the most bang for the buck at about $250.00.I have a K&N intake and filter. What is next? Chip? Exhaust?

Like beez said, is your XJ for the street or offroad?
For the street you can get the throttle body spacers and such.

Offroad, I'd search for a junkyard D44 or 8.8 if you didn't already have one. Not much as far as performance, but if you start building a wheeler, you'll thank yourself later.

the spacer won't work if you have a K&N FIPK it almost hits the hood, in fact mine rubbed itll i cut the rubber hose at the TB.

It's a daily driver plus hunting. The reason I am looking for more power is I tow a camper 1500 miles each way to go camping on the oregan coast every year. RE 3.5" lift, 31" brg MT's 3.55 gears.
