locks don't wanna move

in my 90 limited i have power locks but they seem very hard to move and usually they will lock but i will have to unlock them manually what could be the fix just take the panels off and grease em up good?

Not sure if yours are the same as mine ('89 XJ), but do a search. There's a fix on here somewhere that involves using new relays. I had the same problem...and it fixed mine.

Seems as XJ's get older voltage drops to locks since power is all routed through the passenger side front. The new relays was about a 2-hour install, but well worth it. I also lubed linkages...seemed to improve things as well.
