help!!! transmission coolent lines removel

91 xj can't figure it out, do i squize the plastic pice to get the lines out???

Yes, you should be able to squeeze the plastic clip together and pull the line apart. Sometimes these things are a real PITA, though. I think they make a special tool for removing them. I would try to use a small screwdriver or pick though. If you try that, be gentle. There is a small o-ring in there.

I am in the process of changing my radiator and "atempted" to remove the cooling line that has the disconnect on it. Since there were no tabs left to squezee when I got to it I was left with just cutting the radiator stub off. My question is how do I now remove the portion that is left inside the disconnect side since there are no clips left to squeeze & be able to connect the hose back onto the new radiator?

In looking at the fitting close, I can see 4 metal tabs....

I hope you finished the radiator swap, but in case you haven't....
I would suggest buying the tool to remove the "quick release" connection. I had the exact same problem when I went to replace my radiator and even cut the lines. I found the quick releqse tool one at Autozone for under 5 bucks and was able to pop off the end with no problem after that.
