87 MJ 4.0
Can anyone tell me what size the fuel filter inlet and outlet is? I noticed the fuel leak coming into work today, and I need to call over to the parts store so they can leave it outside the door for me and I can pick it up after work. Stopped to get my morning coffee and the MJ was marking territory...That's what I get for reusing those rubber lines when I replaced the filter.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Why can't your parts store grab a filter off the shelf, and then find the right sized hose?

Because the people that work at the local Napa aren't nearly that helpful. I wouldn't even give them my money if I didn't have to, but I don't want to drive the 18 miles home with high pressure fuel spraying from the bottom of the truck.

You'll need 2' of 5/16" and maybe 6" of 3/8" fuel injection hose (or 9.5mm and 8 mm line).

I've used normal non- HP hose for 1-1/2 years w/ no leaking.

I'd recommend purchasing the injector hoses (as noted above) ... it's not much more money than non-HP, it's what's there now, and your life may depend on it.
